Now as a real estate agent, I am looking at hundreds of listings online all of the time. And something I’m seeing an uptrend in is bad photography. Now when I’m hired as a listing agent, I take it very seriously and spend a lot of time, money and effort making sure that I market that house in the best possible way. So I don’t understand really why agents think that if you’re taking pictures with your iPhone or videos with your iPhone and posting it on the MLS, that that’s doing the best possible thing for your client. So if you’re hiring a listing agent, make sure that you know exactly what their plan is and how they’re planning to implement their marketing strategy. And if any of that marketing strategy involves taking photos with their phone, I’m just saying, you might not be getting the best possible deal for your money.
