Living in Littleton is a fantastic experience, vibrant communities with a rich history. The city of Littleton’s history dates back to the 1859 Pike’s Peak Gold Rush, which brought not only gold seekers, but merchants and farmers to the community. Richard Sullivan Little was an engineer from New Hampshire who made his way out West to work on irrigation systems. Little soon decided to settle in the area at present day Littleton and brought his wife Angeline out from the East in 1862. The Littles, along with many neighbors, built the Rough and Ready Flour Mill in 1867, which provided a solid economic base in the community. By 1890, the community had grown to 245 people and the residents voted to incorporate the Town of Littleton.

Living in Littleton also mean you will have access to the South Platte Park and the Carson Nature an 880-acre urban oasis in Littleton. The Denver Botanic Gardens, Chatfield Farms are an expansive 700-acre native wildlife refuge and working historic farm, located on the banks of beautiful Deer Creek in Littleton.
If you are a Golfer then living in Littleton is a dream, the world renowned Arrowhead Golf Club is a must see, it is a stunning championship golf course in Littleton designed by legendary golf architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr. that has been ranked as one of America’s top 75 public golf courses by Golf Digest. The par-70 course, which is one of the world’s most-photographed golf courses, spans more than 6,600 acres throughout the beautiful Rocky Mountain foothills landscape. Living in littleton also give keep you close to one of the best recreation spots on the front range!
Float your boat in the lake, bicycle or hike on a trail that provides scenic views of the neighboring foothills and Platte River valley, camp, ride a horse and even fly a model airplane – all at Chatfield State Park, nestled next to the foothills southwest of Denver.
Boaters of all types – from water skiers to fishing enthusiasts to canoeists and sailors – enjoy Chatfield Reservoir’s waters. Boat rentals, a floating restaurant and a marina are also available at Chatfield. Campers have their choice of 197 campsites all with electrical hookups and many with full hookups (water, sewer and electric), in four campgrounds at Chatfield. All campsites are within walking distance to the lake and have picnic tables and grills.

If you love Indian food you will need to try Sukoon, they share their fresh authentic and amazing Indian food with all the good people of Littleton. The food we they is made from wholesome, ethically farmed ingredients, sourced locally and spices directly from India. Have you ever eaten at a open kitchen style restaurant? If not give Cafe’ Terracotta a try. The design of the restaurant was intentional. they purposefully created an open kitchen to invite you in to see what they do here, and the food is amazing! If you are anything like me, than sometimes you just want a killer burger for this my personal favorite is the Flying Pig Burger Co. on top of a great name and theme, the burgers are 10/10! Colorado is know for its mico-brew scene, and Living in Littleton you are close to one of the biggest names in the game, the Breckenridge Brewery located right off the Platte River it is a perfect place to take a tour, have a pint and enjoy the breeze on the patio.
