As a real estate agent, I have a whole list of trusted vendors that I point people to, but I don’t actually do the scheduling myself, and here’s why. So when it comes time for inspection, or repairs, or things like that, I provide my clients with a list of my trusted vendors, but I want them to be able to talk to them and discuss their services before they hire. After all, it’s their money going into that vendor’s pocket, and they’re the ones getting the service, not me. So I need those people to be comfortable with the people that they hire. And it’s for that reason that I don’t directly schedule or hire any vendor in the process. I just provide a source of information to get that client paired up with the right person. Now, if your agent is doing it for you, make sure that you are okay with the people that they’re hiring, so that at the end of the day, all of your goals are met and concerns are taken care of.
